Karlos Williams is a fast, physical safety looking to breakout in Tallahassee in 2014. While he has played in every game, minus one due to injury, since he stepped on campus, the rising junior has only one start under his belt thus far. However, he should be an impact player at safety with Lamarcus Joyner moving to CB this fall. Williams also has contributed on special teams for the Seminoles as one of the primary return men during his first two years on the team.
The 6'1", 230lb Williams strikes fear into the hearts of receivers due to his physical play. His speed and size gives him the ability to come into the box and stop the run, while also being able to lock down receivers. This sleeper prospect has the tools to become a star safety in the NFL, but his lack of production is a legitimate concern. Williams may need an extra year to polish his game, but if he plays to his ability this season, then the Seminole safety will soar up draft boards.
