Well fall is quickly approaching and with every autumn comes another season of Buffalo Bills football. Football season is indeed my favorite time of year…with one small exception, my interaction with other football enthusiasts who do not understand the emotional importance that those of us from the Queen City place upon being a fan of our beloved Buffalo Bills.
When not at work (a place where they say I have to dress appropriately) I will be dressed in either an Ole Miss T-shirt (my daughter goes to Ole Miss and is in their Marching Band) or I am making some other fashion statement that includes the Buffalo Bills logo. Since I have only been an Ole Miss fan for a year, my wardrobe is dominated by a factor of 15-1… Bills gear to Rebel gear. So, most days I am wearing something that clearly shows that I am a diehard Buffalo Bills fan. Since I no longer live in Buffalo I can now count on somebody doing one of two things. If they are from Buffalo or Western New York they will say, "Go Bills," stop and ask me where I am from, chat about how much they miss home and overall be a decent, friendly and nice member of the human race. If they are from somewhere other than Western New York and they want to comment on my town or our team then here is some of the utter stupidity that comes out of their mouth.
Let's start with my all-time Gold Medal favorite….
