I agree with you on this 100%! They were able to keep both from what I heard. Lee's agent wasn't trying to hold them hostage and demand the moon! Lee was on his game in the series!
Halladay was the best pitcher in the American league, now moving to a weaker National he'll be even better. The move may be lateral, but only time will tell and the Phillis got Halladay's extension at a relatively decent price in baseball money terms. There is where I feel the decision was made for the Phillies.
Matt, admit your a little bitter that the Yankees couldn't pull off a deal for Halladay. Its only natural for the rich to be greedy and not getting him for the Yankees is a bit of a disappointment for all Yankee fans.
