You are absolutely right about the economy but this is about sports and I highly highly doubt the Lions are going to be moving so who do you think they should take with the number 1 pick?
If they were smart, thet'd trade away their 1st pick for a buttload of later picks to bolster their pathetic O line, but 0-16 and smart football don't go hand in hand.
I agree, with your comment about the NFL not getting rid of a Team in Detroit. That would be like New Orleans getting rid of the Saints after Katrina, Or New york getting rid of the Giants after 911, not going to happen.
