In the past VanFulpen has worked for many different media outlets starting in 1993 where he has covered the Detroit Lions and the NFL Draft for such media outlets as: The Core Report, Lionsfans.com, TheLionsFanatics.com, PanthersInsider.com, NFLDraftBlitz.com, NextLevelScouting.com, and others. On the radio side VanFulpen covered the Lions and the NFL Draft for such outlets as WBBL, in Grand Rapids, Mi, WKZO, in Kalamazoo, Mi, WTRX, in Flint, Mi, Michigan Talk Radio Network, and hosted his own NFL Talk Radio show on ProFootballCentral.com which streamed live over the internet. VanFulpen has worked in scouting department for Next Level Scouting Inc, and worked with such College Football All-Star game as the Texas vs. The Nation and The East Coast Bowl.
