Tuesday, 17 March 2009 09:28

Cornerback Reggie Jones out of Portland State will work out for the Philadelphia Eagles.

JJ Pesavento reports cornerback and return man Reggie Jones out of Portland State has an individual workout with the Philadelphia Eagles scheduled for Friday March 20th.  Playing for Jerry Glanville, Jones recorded 38 tackles, four interceptions, seven pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. Jones returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown and averaged 5.9 yards per punt return.

As previously reported, Jones had an individual workout for the Indianapolis Colts last Saturday on campus. He ran a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash in the rain and improved on his broad jump to 10'9".

The Eagles traded backup cornerback Lito Shepard to the New York Jets this off-season and will likely be looking to add depth to their secondary.
