| The Tampa Tribune is reporting there have been discussions between city officials and the Senior Bowl to move the all-star game to Tampa. According to the report, the Senior Bowl has offered Tampa exclusive negotiating rights for a long-term arrangement for the game before it moves to contact other potential suitors. The Senior Bowl has been held in Mobile, Alabama since the early 1950s, however, game officials reportedly would like to move the game to an NFL stadium. The current Senior Bowl contract with Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile expired after the 2009 game in January. |
