01.19.10 - As first reported by the NFL Draft Bible, Arkansas junior Jerell Norton has declared for the NFL Draft. The defensive back had been granted an additional year of eligibility due to injury. Earlier today, the NFL released the official list of underclassmen who have declared for the 2010 NFL Draft.
01.11.10 - Jerell Norton has signed with an agent and will leave the Arkansas Razorbacks for the NFL, a source has confirmed to 40/29 News. Norton, a junior defensive back from Cedar Hill, Texas, had his best season in 2007, when he logged five interceptions, including a 100-yard touchdown return against North Texas that set a school record. Because of injuries, he had been granted an extra year of eligibility. He will forego his senior season and enter the draft.
