A former Pittsburgh transfer, Agnone brings the physical tools (6’5, 259) and speed (4.7) to be a real pass catching threat in the NFL. It was no coincidence that Joe Flacco tore teams to shreds in the middle of the field with this big-bodied pass catcher who possesses soft hands. He caught 38 balls for 484 yards and four touchdowns as a junior, after registering just 17 catches in 2006. As a former quarterback, Agone is still working on being more physical and plans to improve his skills in the run game by becoming a more aggressive blocker. He did not run in the spring due to surgery. Expect him to impress if he can bounce back from the injury and possibly move into the mid-late rounds with a solid postseason.
