The junior college transfer started all 13 games in his first season in the Big East, sharing the team MVP Award. Lorenzen has excellent size and a good frame, with room to get bigger and stronger. Physically, he has some upside, capable of doing damage with his legs, as well as his arm. He’s an excellent athlete, who began his career as a receiver for the Iowa St. Cyclones and can make people miss when he needs to tuck it and run. The Iowa native does a good job of protecting the football, but needs to work on his accuracy. Overall, he’s too inconsistent and has not stepped up when the level of competition has gotten tougher. He is raw and could work his way into the late rounds with a big season, but more likely will be an undrafted free agent.
