Phillips beat out NFL camp invite Mike Potts as the starter last season and earned Third Team All-CAA honors after throwing for 2,801 yards, 19 touchdowns and just seven picks. He has improved steadily over the last few seasons and flashed pro-level talent. With his arm, decent size and production he will warrant looks. Expect Phillips to enter the season as a free agent type with a chance to move up depending on his year.
