1/8/09 - While the 2008 football season officially ended on Nov. 22 for Stanford, three Cardinal seniors still have some work to do. Pannel Egboh, Alex Fletcher and Wopamo Osaisai all have accepted invitations to participate in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game.
7/1/08 - This Cardinal possesses excellent size and bulk with room to add on as he matures. More quick than fast, Egboh is a capable run defender, but is not a premiere pass rusher by any means. He has the arm length teams look for and moves well for a man of his size. Egboh gets low when engaged. The Texas native has improved each season, which bears watching in 2008 since he played only one season of high school football. He shows good instincts. After breaking his leg in the season final of his redshirt freshman season, Egboh has started 24 straight games heading into his senior season, displaying durability. He has the upside to play defensive end in a 3-4 scheme or shift inside in pass rushing situations in a 4-3 alignment.
