1.17.09 – (East-West Shrine Game Recap): A tightly contested game ended with less than a minute to play on a fourth-and-goal throw by Central Washington quarterback Mike Reilly (West) that was broken up by Norfolk State cornerback Don Carey and other East defenders who closed on the ball. The East ran out the clock and held on for 24-19 victory for head coach Bobby Ross.
1.17.09 – HOUSTON, Mike Reilly(QB-Central Washington) played a bit out of control at times and seemed to be winging it, failing to impress much like his week of practice. Draft Guys On Location at The East-West Shrine Game
1.16.09 – (East-West Shrine Game Practice): Some NFL evaluators noted that several of prospects are being told or sold storylines by agents and others trying to get into the business that do not match up with their actual draft grades. One such prospect they spoke about was Central Washington quarterback Mike Reilly, who one scout noted has spent more time on the Internet writing about his experience than actually showcasing the talent necessary to make a favorable impression.
1.15.09 – HOUSTON, Mike Reilly(Central Washington) is just not standing out or flashing anything that merits a closer look. Draft Guys On Location at The East-West Shrine Game
1.13.09 - (East-West Shrine Game Practice): His ball was a little inconsistent today, seemed like he might have been pressing a bit during his first chance to impress the large contingent of NFL evaluators, gripping the ball too tightly can lead to some misfires, but during warm-ups and individual drills I liked his foot work and he's athletic for his size.
1.13.09 – HOUSTON, Mike Reilly(Central Washington) had a couple of nice passes of throwing on the run, but did not show great velocity throwing from the pocket. He did seem like he was pressing less than he was yesterday and looked more comfortable. Draft Guys On Location at The East-West Shrine Game
1.12.09 – HOUSTON, Mike Reilly(Central Washington) seemed to only read one side of the field, and sometimes locked on to his primary target. He also held on to the ball too long waiting for that primary target to come open. His deep passes sailed and wobbled in the afternoon wind. Draft Guys On Location at The East-West Shrine Game
7.1.08 - A former Washington transfer, Reilly brings good size, mobility, and a strong arm, to go along with a productive career. He is a two-time Second Team All-NCC selection who earned All-America honors his junior season after throwing for 3,386 yards and 30 touchdowns. Reilly will need to limit interceptions as a senior (10 INT in ’07). His worst 40-time on record is a 4.80 from this spring and he should improve on his mid-high 4.7 speed after training. Expect Reilly to be on the draft board in the 4th-6th round range.
