Keating finished his junior campaign with a strong showing, connecting on 22-of-33 field goals with a long of 53 yards. This performance earned him First Team All-American and RMAC Special Teams POY. Most of his missed kicks were blocks due to poor protection but he is golden from 40-yards and beyond with the leg strength to connect past 50. He’s even hit from 60+ during practice. A great kid and hard worker, the Mesa State product has the potential to earn a late-round grade and is considered the top small school kicker heading into 2008.
