Something is missing from his all-around game and I'm not sure he's only 275 pounds as listed; would seem higher to me in-or-out of pads.

7.1.08 - A College Station folk hero, Lane has a nose for the end zone in goal line situations (19 rush touchdowns in '06 earned him First Team All-Big 12 honors). He gets stronger as the game goes on and can wear down a defense with his bulk and sheer girth. Lane possesses excellent footwork, good hands, and is a solid blocker. He played tailback during his first three seasons as an Aggie and is making the shift forward to fullback in his senior campaign as new headman and former NFL head coach Mike Sherman has explained to the Texas native that his future lies at the fullback position. While he is far more skilled than the prototypical fullback, it will be interesting to see how Lane takes to his new position. Will his heart be in it when he realizes how little he’ll be touching the football? Lane wears his emotions on his sleeve and has displayed outward frustration on the sidelines in the past when he wasn’t as involved in the offense. The Aggie could work on his build by getting fitter. A smooth athlete, Lane also starred on the hardwood in high school. Raised by his grandparents, Lane now lives with his girlfriend and his daughter Javia, whom he fathered as a college freshman. Lane is the paternal half brother of Jermichael Finley, who plays tight end for the Green Bay Packers.
