An immediate impact player from day one at Oregon St., Perry has the physical skills in terms of size, strength and quickness—when healthy—to make him one of the top guard prospects in this class. Perry is strong, capable of sustaining blocks as well as providing a powerful punch when run blocking. He moves well and plays with leverage. The injury bug is the biggest hurdle Perry must overcome. In the opening game of his junior season, Perry broke his leg and missed most of the season. He did return to see limited action late in the year, but injured his knee in the final regular season game, which kept him out of the Beavs’ bowl contest. Knee surgery in April knocked him out of spring practice. How he bounces back from the injuries will dictate when or if he gets drafted.
