2.16.09 - Johnson has the speed, moves, burst, and vision that NFL teams love. Unfortunately, his value will be discounted by his size but that won’t stop him from making plays at the next level. His footwork is fantastic, and most compare him to Justin Forsett or J.J. Arrington. He does have a tendency to bounce plays outside and came from a zone read scheme where the holes are much bigger than they will be in the NFL. - Draft Guys Report On Jeremiah Johnson

1.21.09 – Jeremiah Johnson has separated himself from the other North tailbacks and he should be a quality mid round investment. Johnson instinctively gets compact and gives the defender little to hit. He flashed the best initial burst and quickness in his cuts of the North backs. He also surprised with his receiving ability and returned kickoffs. Johnson even demonstrated great perseverance as a blocker in the blitz pickup drill. Draft Guys On Location at The Senior Bowl

1.20.09 – (Senior Bowl Practice): Is shorter than ideal, but well-developed and looks like he could add ten pounds to his frame. Has shown good acceleration, took the ball on an off-tackle to the right side and was able to hit the corner and propel himself down the sideline during team drills. Running hard both days and has given team's something to think about in terms of his ability to be an every-down back.

1.20.09 – MOBILE, Jeremiah Johnson(Oregon) Jeremiah showed a commitment to run between the tackles today, and was not just bouncing everything outside. The burst and explosion in and out of cuts is there. Once again Jeremiah also showed solid hands as a receiver. Draft Guys On Location at The Senior Bowl

1.19.09 – MOBILE, Jeremiah Johnson(Oregon) Johnson started off practice with a very nice run up the middle of the defense. It was so good that one of the coaches commented, "Good, good, low and shuffle!" It's clear that Johnson has natural instincts for running the football, and the burst to get to the hole in a hurry. He does have the speed to get to the corner, although it seemed like he was constantly looking to bounce runs outside. He's nothing special as a receiver and had a drop on a swing pass. 7.1.08 - One of the more intriguing prospects heading into the season, Johnson has spent the last couple of years sharing carries as a backup to the highly touted Jonathan Stewart (Panthers). A knee injury (ACL) suffered during the sixth game of the year cut short his junior campaign. Johnson has averaged over six yards per carry each season wearing the Green and Yellow of Oregon, displaying elusiveness and a quick change of direction. Johnson will have to answer questions about his knee if he hopes to hear his name called in the 2009 Draft—he’s never carried the ball more than 103 times in a single season. However, he flashed big-play capability as a sophomore, matching Stewart with 10 rushing touchdowns on 80 fewer carries. It remains to be seen if he can return to that playing level.
