Schommer lacks great height but has the bulk and speed necessary to make up for it. As a junior, he finished with 64 tackles, four interceptions, and four pass breakups. A Second Team All-Great West performer in 2006, Schommer picked off three passes and had four pass breakups. He has been a consistent performer over his career and should get a look as a priority free agent due to his speed and production.
