If you are looking for a possible late-round or priority free agent gem, Carey could very well be that player. He earned Second Team All-MEAC honors with three picks and eight breakups as a junior. His versatility--he’s able to play either safety spot or cornerback--size (6'0, 192) and speed (4.47) combination is one of the most impressive of any small school defensive back. His coaches love his aggressive play, his smarts, and the character he displays. Carey carries a priority free agent grade entering the 2008 season.
