1.19.09 – Dominique Johnson did not look overmatched at all against competition from BCS schools, getting inside of Kenny McKinley easily to break up one pass and recording an interception (once again on a ball thrown by Pat White). He looked very quick and fast for a 6'1 1/2 corner. - Draft Guys On Location at the Senior Bowl

Scout's Take - 8.1.08

A former Missouri transfer, Johnson reminds some of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in terms of his size/speed combo and the fact he has a track and field background. The speedster has experience playing safety as well as cornerback and doesn’t shy away from contact. Johnson has good recovery speed and is able to cover in the slot. As a junior, he gathered five interceptions, along with 14 pass breakups and could have had several more interceptions if not for his hands of stone. If Johnson continues to improve and adds some bulk, he could be a mid-to-late-round prospect by season’s end.
