A converted defensive end, Bryant compares favorably to 2008 Hampton prospect Kendall Langford (Dolphins). He enters the 2008 season on few draft boards as he was forced to sit out the 2007 season due to academic reasons. His last season on film was in 2006, where he collected 11 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in 10 games. Bryant has long arms, a good motor and can change direction quickly. He has not always been hungry but those close to him say he is motivated now more than ever. Some consider their quarterback (Chris Pizzotti) the best prospect on the team but Bryant’s physical tools and upside could move him ahead of many on the board if and when he puts it all together. He is a very draftable player if he can impress in workouts and have a big senior season.
