Griffin was expected to be a senior last year but received an extra year of eligibility. He finished with 69 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and five sacks as a junior to earn Second Team All-America honors. He enters 2008 as a three-time First Team All-PSAC (two years at California PA and one season at Indiana PA). Griffin has experience at defensive tackle, defensive end and inside linebacker. As an undersized end, Griffin is too slow to play outside linebacker, not fast enough to play linebacker and carries some baggage. Griffin is headed for priority free agent status.
