Swain might be the most highly rated D2 prospect after posting 24 ½ tackles for loss and 13 sacks on his way to earning consensus All-America honors in ’07. A nuisance to opposing backfields, Swain has harassed quarterbacks and been able to force turnovers during his tenure at West Texas A&M. Among his most impressive stats are his five forced fumbles during his junior season. Slightly undersized, Swain falls into the “tweener” category but has the speed to be a 3-4 end or convert to outside linebacker at the next level. He can earn anywhere from a 3rd -7th round grade from scouts, depending on what a team is looking for.
