Banks brings the whole package scouts are looking for in a small school prospect. The former Marshall transfer has tallied 28 interceptions entering the ’08 season and earned First Team All-WVIAC honors in each his last two seasons. His size/speed combo is not among the elite, but it is easily good enough for the next level. Banks is a smart player with a great vertical leap who can play on an island as a shutdown cover man. He is a projected mid-round pick entering his senior year.
