| Steelers' running back Rashard Mendenhall took full advantage of Willie Parker's absence and San Diego's injury-riddled defense, rushing 29 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers' victory on Sunday night.

| According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Steelers' safety Troy Polamalu started running today and has not ruled out playing against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday night. "It would be nice to play this weekend," Polamalu said. "We'll see."
