First players announced for the 2008 Playboy All Amercian team.

According to several sources the following players will be part of this year's Playboy All-American team; Alabama junior offensive tackle Andre Smith, Mississippi senior offensive tackle Michael Oher and Oklahoma senior offensive tackle Phil Loadholt.

UPDATE: According to several sources the following players have been named to this year's Playboy All-American Team; West Virginia senior quarterback Pat White, Georgia RS sophomore running back Knowshon Moreno, Ohio State junior running back Chris Wells, Texas Tech sophomore wide receiver Michael Crabtree, California senior center Alex Mack, Texas senior defensive end Brian Orakpo, South Florida junior defensive end George Selvie, Auburn junior defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks, USC senior linebacker Brian Cushing, USC senior linebacker Rey Maualuga, Cincinnati senior cornerback Mike Mickens, USC junior safety Taylor Mays, Arizona State sophomore kicker Thomas Weber and BAll State senior punter Chris Miller.
