#23 Pittsburgh Steelers: Rashard Mendenhall, Illinois
One of the biggest shockers of the first round was the slide of Mendenhall, who most figured to be the second running back off the board. In Mendenhall, the Steelers get a tough hard-nosed runner who can keep it between the tackles but also has enough speed to cut it around the corner and take it outside, something Pittsburgh will seek out of him- to pair with Willie Parker who seems to have lost a step with his accumulation of carries over the past few seasons.
