#30 New York Jets (From Packers): TE Dustin Keller, Purdue
The Jets rejected a trade request made by Chris Baker earlier in the week after he learned that the team would not be giving him a new contract. With the selection of Keller, team management could have a change of heart or could look to utilize the pass-catching abilities of both tight ends as a safety net for weak-armed quarterbacks Chad Pennington and Kellen Clemens.
The Packers trade #30 overall (1st round) for #36 overall (2nd round) and #113 overall (4th round).
