Report: Clifton Geathers Going Pro

Defensive end Clifton Geathers appears as if he will not return for his senior season at USC.

Geathers told his coaches Monday that he's leaning toward skipping his senior season to enter the NFL draft. Geathers told them he's concerned about the risk of injury if he plays his final year of college ball.

Geathers apparently met with coaches again Tuesday, and has reportedly gone back to his hometown of Georgetown, apparently to begin training for the NFL.
