NFL: Jags to Move Some Home Games?

Plagued by local blackouts due to a lack of ticket sales, the Jacksonville Jaguars might be taking a look at moving some of their future games to Orlando, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "There's certainly the possibility that we would play some out-of-market games," Jags owner Wayne Weaver said. "If it happened, Orlando would be the best option and most reasonable location."

NFL: MJD Reportedly OK After Leg Bruise

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew left the team's preseason game Thursday night after bruising his lower right leg. He went straight to the locker room for X-rays, which were negative. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Friday.
 

 
NFL: Leftwich Inches Ahead of McCown

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Byron Leftwich outperformed Luke McCown during the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 27. Leftwich was 9-for-17 for 100 yards while McCown finished 5-for-11 for 38 yards in the game. Both quarterbacks had roughly the same amount of playing time in the game.
