The NFL Draft Bible goes one-on-one with UCONN defensive end / linebacker Lindsey Witten, as he prepares to take on the competition at this week’s East-West Shrine Game.

What is your official height?

6’4 ½

What do you consider to be your biggest strength?

SPEED

What part of your game have you worked on improving?

Point Of Attack

Where have you been training, how often do you workout to stay in shape?

I’m training at the Euclid Sports Plant with trainer Tim Roberts. We work out six days a week.

Who is the toughest opponent/teammate you have faced, how did you fare?

As a freshman, I went up against Jeff Otah [Pittsburgh]. I would say I have learned a lot since then, I faired ok.

Which coach has had the biggest impact on your playing career up to this point?

High School head coach Tedd Ginn Sr. and Defensive Line Coach Hank Hughes.

Any players that you would compare yourself to or a favorite player growing up?

Like to compare my game to Jason Taylor and Alex Brown.

What do you like to do with your free time, do you have a hobby?

I love to watch movies, collect movies and write poetry.

What is something that people may not know about you?

I love to cook.

If you could invite any three guests for dinner past or present who would they be?

Grand Father James P. Witten, High School Head Coach Ted Ginn Sr., Head Coach Randy Edsalls.

What are your future goals outside of playing in the NFL?

First and foremost give back to the community, and maybe if I’m lucky enough, sports broadcasting.
