Interview with Harvard quarterback Chris Pizzotti.

What is your current height, weight and workout numbers?
Pizzotti:
I am 6’5 ½ and weigh 230 now. I was tested in the forty and I ran a 4.79 and 4.82. My bench is 315 and vertical is 30 ½ inches.

Where did you go to high school?
Pizzotti:
Reading High School in Mass.

Did you play any other sports in high school besides football?
Pizzotti:
I played basketball all four years and baseball two years.

What is your major and GPA?
Pizzotti:
Economics. 3.4.

When do you expect to graduate?
Pizzotti:
I finish up in December and my finals are in January.

What is your learning style? (board only, board & walk thru or visual-have to see it.)
Pizzotti: I
like all three but I like to see it more so I would say visual.

What is the biggest adversity you have had to overcome in your college career or life?
Pizzotti:
Missing my sophomore year with my back injury so not being able to compete for the starting spot.

Talk about your family background such as parents, siblings, and employment.
Pizzotti:
I grew up in a middle class household. I had two older brothers and a sister. All my brothers played football in college and with my grandfather playing at Notre Dame my childhood was spent with me watching football. My father runs a construction company and my mom is kind of the secretary for him and works at a retail store in town.

Are you married or single?
Pizzotti:
Single.

Do you have any kids?
Pizzotti:
No.

Do you have any relatives who played in the NFL?
Pizzotti:
My grandfather played in the NFL. He was the number one draft pick in 1946. His name was Frank Dancewicz.

What do you feel are your strengths and weaknesses?
Pizzotti:
My strengths are leadership and my passing ability. I am pretty smart on the field and I know when to take shots. I know when to check down and I can manage the game. Weaknesses are that I need to be better in the running game and I will continue working on that. I would say continuing to improve my arm strength this year and in years to come.

Do you have a favorite route?
Pizzotti:
Comeback or post.

What is the highlight of your career?
Pizzotti:
Beating Yale last year in the championship game.

Who is the best player you have faced in your career?
Pizzotti:
Zak Deossie of Brown.

Who is the best player on your team?
Pizzotti:
I would say Matt Curtis or Andrew Berry.

Is there anyone else on your team who has NFL potential?
Pizzotti:
I would say the one guy would be Desmond Bryant. He missed last year but he is a freak of nature. He is like 6’6, 295 and all muscle. He runs real well. If he has a big year he should get a lot of looks.

What are your goals for this year?
Pizzotti:
Just go undefeated and win the Ivy League Championship. To be honest I would like to be an All-American.

What are your future goals?
Pizzotti:
I would like to be in the NFL as long as possible. After that I will do what I can but I want to play football as long as possible.
