NFL: Romo To Roy A Work In Progress

Tim MacMahon, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams said he is still working on building chemistry with quarterback Tony Romo. "We're still a work in progress. He's still getting to know me, and I'm still getting to know him," Williams said.

The Skinny: After releasing Terrell Owens, Jerry Jones is counting on Williams, who he traded a first round pick to the Detroit Lions for, to become Romo’s favorite target. If Williams can become what Jones thought he was when he gave up the ranch for him just before the trade deadline last season, the Cowboys could make their way back atop the NFC East. If not, Jones may be hiring a new coaching staff next season.
