NFL: Will Mike Vick Unite or Divide?

The Associated Press reports Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick took part in a total of six plays during his preseason debut Thursday, Aug. 27. Vick lined up as a receiver in the slot for one play, ran once for one yard and completed all four of his passes for 19 yards.

The Skinny: There is little question that Michael Vick still has an amazing amout of talent, and that he brings a different dimension to the Eagles football team. The only way I can see adding him to the Eagles could hurt the team is if Donovan McNabb struggles or gets injured. It has been shown all over the NFL many times, that quarterback controversies are not the best thing for a team. If the locker room becomes divided, there is no chance for the Eagles to finally win the Super Bowl.
