The St. Louis Dispatch reports, QB Tim Tebow took very few snaps during the Broncos’ first offseason practice as he continues to work on his mechanics and studying the playbook. Brady Quinn, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns in March, is just getting acclimated to his new teammates and new offense. Kyle Orton, meanwhile, carried himself with the type of relaxed, poised demeanor common among established quarterbacks.

The 49ers intend to tweak rookie Anthony Dixon's running style. VP of Player Personnel Trent Baalke observed that Dixon "has to learn to run like a big back" after dancing too often during OTA practices. Dixon, though, has reportedly "showed some nice moves and a burst of speed" at 235 lbs. Beat writer Matt Maiocco compares Dixon to an early-career Kevan Barlow.

Dallas Cowboys WR Roy Williams said rookie WR Dez Bryant is a tremendous talent who doesn't even realize how good he can be, according to David Moore, of The Dallas Morning News. "The dude is scary,'' Williams said. "The dude is good and he doesn't even know it yet. Once the light bulb goes on he will probably be the best in the league. He's a man among boys. He's got big hands. Real big hands. When he shakes my hand, his fingers come up to my elbows.''

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate has had his good and bad moments adapting to the speed of the pro level during offseason practices, reports Clare Farnsworth, of Seahawks.com. During practice Monday, May 24, Tate ran the wrong route on a play despite being open. "He ran the absolute wrong route," QB Matt Hasselbeck said of the team's second-round draft choice. "But he was open, and I threw it to him and he made a great play. So in a lot of ways, you can just tell his head is swimming."

Pittsburgh Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey (foot) suffered a foot injury during the team's offseason workout Wednesday, May 26, according to Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The injury is not believed to be serious.

Denver Broncos C J.D. Walton worked with the first team at center during practice Monday, May 24, reports Mike Klis, of The Denver Post.

Tennessee Titans DE Derrick Morgan (hamstring) and CB Roderick Hood (hernia) were limited to individual drills during offseason workouts Tuesday, May 25, reports Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. Head coach Jeff Fisher said Hood should be ready to fully participate in the team's June minicamp.

It's much too early to predict which undrafted rookie free agents have a chance to make the Cowboys roster. But one who caught the eye of the coaching staff in the rookie mini-camp and held his own in OTAs is Barry Church, according to the Dallas News.

New Orleans Saints CB Harry Coleman was arrested Sunday, May 23, and charged with simple battery, reports James Varney, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. The details of the incident appear sketchy at this time. "I thought initially that he was a box safety, that's all he could do,'' Assistant Coach Dave Campo said. "But the guy moves better than I thought he did, to be honest with you.

ETC,.

The Oakland Raiders are talking with the Dallas Cowboys about the possibility of participating in joint practices before their preseason game against the Cowboys, reports David White, of the San Francisco Chronicle.
