| NFL: V.Y. Over Ramsey in Tennessee | ||||

The Nashville City Paper reports that Patrick Ramsey will make the final 53-man roster, but the Titans confirmed Sunday that Vince Young will be their No. 2 quarterback this year. The Skinny: There’s no need for any victory trumpets here. Young came into the preseason with the advantage over Ramsey as the number-two guy, and has barely done enough to remain the top backup, as his counterpart nurses sore ribs. Over the preseason, VY has shown both good and bad, but has a modest 3:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio. In addition, he continues to underthrow receivers. The enigmatic passer has yet to establish himself as a true pocket quarterback, and until he does I have little faith in him.
