| NFL: Tough Sledding for Jason Smith | ||||

ESPN.com reports that Rams rookie OT Jason Smith is "moving people in the running game," but he's been struggling with pass protection.
The Skinny: That’s funny. Coming out of Baylor, Smith had better pass blocking characteristics. But still and all, his early struggles in pass protection come as no surprise since he---as do most rookie tackles---needs time to adjust to the speed of the pro game. The one-of-kind lateral agility, footwork, and balance are all there for him to eventually become a top pass blocker.
