NFL: Redskin O-Line Woes Continue

According to the Washington Post, Redskins coach Jim Zorn admitted Sunday that LT Chris Samuels' knee will likely be a problem all season.

The Skinny: I put the Seahawks and Redskins in the same boat when it comes to their aging and crumbling offensive lines. Their front lines aren’t deep enough to provide the pass protection needed to maintain constant success throughout the season. In Washington’s case, you’re already seeing signs of its offense being very weak. In the first two weeks of the preseason quarterback Jason Campbell has yet to produce any touchdowns, while only completing 4 of 13 pass attempts for 48 yards. Why Washington let a useful veteran in Jon Jansen go is impossible to explain. The 32-year-old Samuels is also coming back from a torn triceps injury in addition to now dealing with knee issues. Four out of five players on the line are over 31. This is a group that’s clearly on the downside.
