| NFL: Ogletree Climbs Up the Depth Chart | ||||

The Fort-Worth Star Telegram maintains that undrafted rookie WR Kevin Ogletree has bypassed Isaiah Stanback on the depth chart. The Skinny: From Holy Cross High School in Bayside (Queens), N.Y. to Big D, it’s been a winding road to the NFL for Ogletree, who's battled injuries throughout his college career. With the support of his former position coach John Garrett (Jason’s brother, who now serves as the tight ends coach with Dallas), Ogletree has worked his tail off, showing the team that he’s a capable special teams return man in addition to being a playmaker at wide out. What stands out when you assess the rookie free agent is his quick burst off the line, along with strength and lateral quickness that helps him create space between him and his defender. His focus on the field has also been noteworthy, as evidenced by his highlight-reel touchdown versus Tennessee a couple of weeks back in which he made a one-handed grab despite being interfered with.
