NFL: Fragile Felix Could Miss Weeks
Written by Ralph Mancini    Wednesday, 30 September 2009 01:28    PDF Print E-mail

Despite reports that Felix Jones (sprained PCL) would miss multiple weeks, coach Wade Phillips isn't ruling him out for Sunday's game at Denver, reports ESPN.com.

Mancini’s Take: It doesn’t look as though Jones will ever be a 20-carry-per-game type of back. The darned sprained PCL is a nasty injury that make take anywhere from a couple of weeks to over a month to bounce back from. It robs you of your agility and lateral movement. It’s really too bad because the former Razorback is flat-out electric with the ball in his hands. He’s one of the best I’ve ever seen at instantly accelerating from zero to 60. His burst is a sight to behold.
