NFL Draft Bible Correspondent Bo Marchionte On Location: While watching the group five wide receivers perform live at the NFL Scouting Combine, more than a few players showed some nice balls skills while also displaying very nice cuts in and out of breaks.
One player who many scouts in attendance seemed to have boosted their draft stock is Emmanuel Sanders from SMU, who showed more explosion than any other player. He appeared to be on a higher level of quickness than the others, showing impressive burst and bringing in the ball after the catch.
Big man from Syracuse, Mike Williams made a terrific over the head grab while looking crisp and comfortable throughout the gauntlet and all the other drills. Naturally, the smaller-sized players tend to look quicker but Williams looked like he belonged.
Kyle Williams from Arizona State looked so smooth and fluid after catching the ball, when it was all said and done he had more stars next to his name than any other player when looking at my notes. He truly stood out and if all the prior knowledge of these guys was not known prior to the combine, Williams will be one player getting a lot more attention right now.
Another player who continues to rise during this draft process is Ohio Bobcat Taylor Price, who did not drop a single pass that was thrown his way. Being one of the fastest guys in Indianapolis, to go along with his showing of great hands bodes well for him. Not only was he one of the most impressive players in Mobile, at the Senior Bowl but Price stood tall at the combine and impressive pro day could make him a lock for the second round. * * * * * *The All Access Football ninth annual 2010 NFL Draft Bible Package Is Now Available!
