| Browns headman Eric Mangini was asked if he thought of replacing Derek Anderson with Brady Quinn during yesterday's blowout loss to the Packers. His response? "No, I didn't [think of playing Quinn]," Mangini said to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "Because D.A. was our starter and I felt comfortable with the things that we were doing. That was where my thought process was."

| Stephanie Storm of the Akron Beacon Journal reports that instead of seeing Jerome Harrison as direct competition, Browns running back Jamal Lewis recognizes he and his understudy form a solid one-two punch. "We offer different running styles because I got him by about 40 pounds," said the Lewis, who tips the scales at around 245. But at the same time, you look around this league and that's what you see--one-two punches, backs that go in and change paces and do different things. I think that's what we can offer." Lewis hopes to get back into the action Sunday at the Buffalo Bills. Coach Eric Mangini added his thoughts, "Now we have two guys that can go in and play first, second or third down, and do it well."
