NFL: Forte's Fumbling Follies

Chicago running back Matt Forte coughed the ball up in crunch time against the Falcons last night, leaving the Bears in search of answers for their goal line troubles. Forte, who finished with only 23 yards rushing on 15 carries, fumbled only once as a rookie. He had a wrap on his right hand after the game.

Bears TE Desmond Clark suffered a cracked rib in Sunday's game against the Packers. He is expected to miss at least a few weeks with the injury.

According to several sources, including the Chicago Tribune, Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher suffered a dislocated wrist which will keep him sidelined for the entire season.

 
NFL: Cutler in Mid-season Form

Jay Cutler's throwing was in mid-season form after the Bears' preseason loss to the Bills on Saturday night. Unfortunately, the throwing he did was throwing a teammate under the bus. When asked what happened on an interception during the game, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Cutler said, "Devin is more of a go-get it guy, he is not really a back shoulder or jump up and get it guy," Cutler said. "You learn from it. We made some mistakes. It's the first preseason game. Luckily enough, we have some time to correct them and keep going."
 

 
NFL: Setback For Tillman

Bears LCB Charles "Peanut" Tillman is out at least one month and maybe more after recently undergoing surgery to repair a disc in his back, reports the Chicago Tribune.
