According to the Gaston Gazette, Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme admits he let some early mistakes stick with him in Sunday's disaster against the Eagles, but swore he would remedy the situation come Sunday.

Panthers QB Jake Delhomme, who threw four interceptions and fumbled once, was benched for the first time in his seven seasons with the Panthers for his performance. “Obviously, I think we start back with Jake,” said head coach John Fox. “I think we've got to go back and evaluate what happened to us. Personally, after not seeing the tape, I don't think that's all Jake's fault.”

CBSSports.com reports Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (Achilles') has not had any additional tests on his Achilles' and said he just needs more rest before getting back on the field.
