Oregon senior running back LaGarrette Blount, who already was surrounded by some character issues entering this season, may have seen an early end to his college career this evening and put a huge "Black" mark on his professional aspirations, as he punched Boise State defensive lineman Byron Hout following the Ducks 19-8 loss to Boise State.
Blount continued to taunt the Boise State players after connecting with the punch to the face of Hout and then had to be physically restrained by Ducks assistant coach Scott Frost, members of the stadium security, other Ducks staff members and teammates and even police officers before finally being escorted into their locker room.
Blount's actions towards Hout would likely have drawn some type of university sanctions but that fact that thankfully Scott Frost was in the right place at the wrong time is what prevented Blount from actually attacking members of the crowd as he rushed right towards the fence and was only inches away before Frost grabbed a hold of him.
